Night & Day –
Around the world, around the clock.
The sun never sets on Staufen offices.
When the work day ends at one of our 13 sites, a new day is just getting started elsewhere…
Dario Spinola, Managing Director
STAUFEN.Táktica Consultoria
What are you doing right now?
I am already working! At 8 am you will likely see me drinking a cup of coffee. I really love it, and it gives me a boost to start the day!
What are you looking forward to most today?
I will have the chance to play tennis with a colleague early in the evening. After a full day of work, it is a pleasure to relax my mind enjoying sports and a beer afterwards – why not?
How did you get to the office?
I live in São Carlos, about 150km from our office in Campinas city. So I drive an hour and forty minutes to get there on Monday morning and usually get back home on Friday evening.
What do you love best about Brazil?
Brazil is a nice place to live because of its beautiful nature, tropical weather, amazing beaches and friendly people. By the way, I will spend a few days with my family at Ubatuba beach during the carnival holidays.
What is awaiting you today at the office?
Since we’re at the beginning of the year, we are still organizing and specifying our main tasks. We have big challenges ahead of us and we will work hard to succeed. This afternoon I have an acquisition meeting with a potential customer in the construction business.
Could you imagine working in China for a while?
Actually, I lived in China for 8 years and I love it. The working environment in China is quite challenging, and for me it was more exciting because we constantly had to work outside our comfort zone and learn a lot by finding new ways to get things done! Another wonderful thing about working in China is experiencing such an ancient culture and such amazing food!
Tobias Monden, Managing Director
STAUFEN.SHANGHAI Consulting Academy Ltd.
What are you doing right now?
I’m on a plane traveling back from Shenyang in northern China. I’m wrapping up the last 2 days with interesting meetings and catching up on my emails.
What did you enjoy most today?
Positive client feedback about the professional and high-quality work of our consultant team in a challenging customer environment.
How are you this evening?
Tired after a long week but also satisfied with the good results.
What do you love best about China?
You might have heard of the phrase ‘TIC!’ – this is China! ‘Everything is possible, but nothing is easy’ – that pretty much sums it up and still makes life and work interesting for me here, even after more than ten years.
How was your day?
Together with our CEO Martin Haas, we had a busy 2-day schedule that included a project-steering committee meeting, local government meetings and a new acquisition – accompanied by early-morning train rides in freezing North China (currently -20ºC)
Could you imagine working in Brazil for a while?
Sure, but only if you send Dario Spinola from Brazil back to China 🙂
