Automation and increased efficiency through AI
The endeavor to integrate human intelligence into computer systems so that they can solve problems independently, make decisions and learn continuously has produced many tools that are ubiquitous in everyday life:
Internet search engines, music and video streaming, driver assistance systems, voice assistants and facial recognition.
In the world of work, artificial intelligence (AI) is now regarded as one of the key technologies for increased competitiveness, efficiency, productivity and cost control. However, many companies and authorities are still stuck in old structures and are overwhelmed by the amount of data to be processed and the speed at which the market is changing.
Their employees are often stuck in repetitive processes and find them monotonous and dull. Max Schlensag is familiar with this problem. In 2021, he was training to become an IT specialist: „I was banging codes into the keyboard and wasn’t challenged. This gave me the idea of helping others who are in a similar situation.“
He began using AI to automate work processes in order to create more room for creativity for the people around him. In his work, he saw increasing success and happy faces. Schlensag therefore abandoned his education and founded the start-up company Futurized at the age of 18, which focuses on text and image processing and document processing.
The application of AI in these areas enables companies to revolutionize conventional process management.
Max Schlensag gives an example of this:
In a bank’s construction financing process, various criteria in documents such as the land register, purchase contract and proof of salary are checked individually. Futurized does this automatically within a few seconds.

What can companies do specifically to keep pace with the new technology?
Max Schlensag advises people to take personal responsibility, i.e. to either buy in the necessary know-how or be trained in it in order to be able to evaluate solutions. The next step is to form groups of young and old people who deal with the topic of the future and identify the processes that need to be changed.
With the help of a technological solution provider such as Futurized, the necessary change can then be implemented. As a result, companies are also well prepared for the current changes in the world of work. The new generation of young, qualified workers values variety, continuous development, meaningfulness and work-life balance in their professional activities.
According to Schlensag, back-office issues such as processing, accounting and tax advice will no longer be dependent on people. People will increasingly use their creativity – in combination with technology. Interaction with customers will also change: „Today, we talk to people based on gut feeling. In a few years’ time, we will be doing this based on a technological feeling.“
